The Sacred Heart of Herbalism is a unique offering combining the spiritual aspects of herbalism with the practical aspects of developing your own herbal apothecary and how to work with herbs safely and effectively. This herbal wisdom training begins on March 25th live online. Recordings are available and the course can be taken via the recordings. Students will have up to a year after the last class date to finish the course. Certificates are awarded for full completion of the course, homework, assignments, final projects, and exam.
Karine Gordineer of Green Girl Herbs & Healing announces open registration for the 2024 Sacred Heart of Herbalism class series. This 10-month training will work with herbalism in the way it was originally taught; infused with the Spirits of the Plants. Native Peoples believe that to truly possess the healing powers of a plant one must be introduced to the Spirit of that Plant and be honored with its healing gifts.

At the end of the course, you will know how to work with herbs medicinally, be able to make your own herbal remedies in the form of infusions, decoctions, tea blends, oils, salves, vinegars, oxymels, flower essences, tinctures, and syrups. You will feel confident to create remedies for yourself and your family, garden with herbs, know how to harvest and dry herbs properly, identify locally growing herbs, and will have discovered at least one of your plant allies. You will have a good solid foundation in herbalism should you like to continue with your studies. The cost for this outstanding course is $1225. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in class and can be paid here. Class size is limited so early registration is recommended.
